Learn more, Mags O’Brien – Life Transformation Specialist.

I believe in a world where everyone, if they chose, can create the life that they want.

I’m on a mission to show how that can be done in a very down to Earth way using spiritual principles.  I’m my own experiment and like you, I’m a work in progress. However, I have discovered what can be done to assist the process and it’s my passion to share it and celebrate people’s successes.

I started my journey as therapist and teacher over 20 years ago. That experience is used so that I help others to make positive life changes through workshops, coaching and mediumship.

My passion is inspiring others to be truly who they are and to give them the calm, confidence to make those changes.  As a licensed Louise Hay ‘Heal Your Life’ Teacher, I share tried and tested techniques to enable others to find their passion and bring it into being.  The work is done in the room so it is practical and down to Earth. As a Soul Realignment Practitioner, I can also do deeper to work with blocks and restrictions created at Soul level to help you make different choices to clear them.

Sometimes issues are more deep seated and I am experienced in the emotional release of trauma in this life and past lives.

Underpinning all my work is my connection to Spirit as I am guided to give what is needed to the people I work with. My mediumship is also used in the guided meditations and inspired speaking directly channelled from spirit in my talks and workshops.

Mindset, Motivation and The Law Of Attraction, Claire Mckeown – True Potential

Claire Mckeown is a Mindset and Motivational Coach, fully qualified Hypnotherapist, NLP expert and Law of Attraction Trainer.

For many years Claire worked successfully in education and training, rising through the ranks to senior Manager position, until one day in 2014 she decided, almost overnight  to leave it all behind to follow her dream and passion of running her own therapy business and ‘True Potential Hypnotherapy’ was launched.

She works globally with clients young and old, from all walks of life. Her passion is helping people, many who have had traumatic experiences, to remove unwanted patterns of behaviour, let go of the past, overcome obstacles and live life to the full.

Claire recognises that the Law of Attraction is a significant aspect of ensuring her clients achieve amazing results. She now runs successful workshops and trainings on Law of Attraction across the Midlands to help people to live the best life that they can.

Law of Attraction, What is it?

Have you heard about the Law of Attraction? Perhaps you have seen the film from 2007 ‘The Secret’ by Rhonda Byrne or even read her book.

If not that’s ok, because, to be honest if you believe ‘like attracts like’ then you will believe in Law of Attraction. You will also be in very elite company, because there are many famous people that have used the Law of Attraction to achieve their dreams and goals. The likes of Oprah Winfrey, Jim Carey, Lady Gaga to name but a few.

It’s important to know that In fact you create your own reality! Because where you place your focus on is what you will attract to you. If you spend your days worrying, getting anxious or thinking about things you regret from the past, you will just bring more things to you to regret in your future.

The Law of Attraction is working in your life whether you’re aware of it or not and whether you want it to or not. Learning more about it will explain why you are attracting the things in your life that you do whether it’s good or bad, positive or negative.

Once you understand this concept you can choose to take some control of your future. You can start to live and think in a more positive way and attract even more positive events and experiences into your life.

Whatever you want, whatever your dreams and goals are, knowing about the Law of Attraction can help you to achieve them. You can learn how to become mindful of your own thoughts, you know that ‘inner negative chatter’ that stops you believing in yourself!  And understand how you can quickly change them to ensure you get the best results every day. I realise that we can’t always control our circumstances, but be sure we can control our responses to them.

To learn more about and Understand how Law of Attraction can enhance your life come along to my workshop in the Newport Suite 2 at 2:15-3:15.

Since 1995 Alan Harris and Robert Nutthave worked with the Ascended Masters to channel a form of Energy Therapy
which works to balance the Chakras or energy centres.

They called the system ChakrascensionTM.

The Ascended Masters, a group of enlightened beings
who exist in the spiritual realms, act as guides and work with humanity to
support us in our spiritual growth, knowledge and awareness.

The system consists of 13 symbols each one linked to a specific Ascended
Master, partaking of a unique name, colour and function.

ChakrascensionTM is a powerful tool for healing but its purpose is also to help
in the expansion of human consciousness and to accelerate the spiritual
growth of humanity.

Recently Alan and Robert completed the production of a
ChakrascensionTM Master Deck using the symbols and images of the
Ascended Masters.

Alan and Robert live in Shrewsbury and run courses so that people can train
in the system to access the energy to heal themselves, others and connect to
the Ascended Masters.

During the workshop Alan and Robert will be explaining how
ChakrascensionTM System was developed; how they feel it can help heal and
support spiritual growth.

The session will also include a guided meditation
bringing in the energies of the Masters.

Sami Blackford, Freyaluna ‘FINDING YOUR INNER WILD WOMAN’

Sami Blackford is the founder and force of passion behind Freyaluna. Sami helps rebellious, open-hearted Wild Women who struggle with confidence and self-image issues to come home to their bodies and embrace their innate natural beauty.

Here she shares her tips for reviving your inner Wild Woman…

Learn to recognise Wild Woman

Wild Woman is that innate natural being inside all women. She is your inner knowing. Your intuition. Your true essence. She is you at a very base and primal level. She’s the inner instinct which knows exactly what is best for you. Note: Wild Woman always knows.

Forget “should”

Remove the word “should” from your vocabulary. Seriously.” Should” is a sign that you’re not really into whatever it is you think you “should” be doing. “Should” is not fun, and it destroys creativity.

It’s YOUR life

We are in complete control of our lives. Seriously, there’s no-one else. It’s just you. And it’s just me. YOU are in control of your life, your career, your relationships, your friendships… everything.

Remove the labels

As we go through life, we collect many labels from many different people and places – woman, daughter, sister, auntie, friend, business woman, writer – these are just a few of the labels I have. Some labels are positive and make us feel good, and some are maybe not so good. It’s these not-so-good labels which we want to remove.

Slow down

If you’re always rushing through your life – meeting work deadlines, partying the weekends away, or whatever it is – how will you ever truly appreciate your life? Taking a time for yourself means you get to fill-up your own vessel, to nurture your Wild Woman, so that you can give more to others.

Raise your awareness

This generally comes as a knock-on effect of the last point – once we slow down, we become more aware of what is happening within and around us. From here we are in a stronger position to make changes for the better.

Connect with your feminine power

Ladies, did you know we are born with a natural road map deep within us; our own blueprint for success. Follow the road map and life will become easier, more enjoyable, and you can gain a more loving relationship with yourself.

Be gentle with yourself

Be kind. Be gentle. Be loving. Be supportive. With others, yes. And most importantly, with yourself. On the days you feel good, and more importantly, on the days you’re feeling not-so-good. Because a year, 6 months, 1 month, 1 day from now you can be in a completely different space – mentally, spiritually, emotionally, and financially. Keep moving forward, and keep believing in yourself.

Join Sami for her workshop: Discovering Your Inner Wild Woman at 1:25pm at The Healthy Lifestyle Show.

Debbie Copner Yoga One “If you can breathe, you can do yoga!”

I fell in love with yoga when I first stepped onto a mat 29 years ago and it’s been part of me ever since.  In 2016 I achieved my dream to become a yoga teacher and it is an absolute pleasure to share my practice with other yogis.

I teach Hatha Yoga and love how we can bring the mind to stillness by the union of the mind, body and breath.  I truly believe that yoga is suitable for everyone – all shapes, sizes, ages and abilities. Yoga increases core strength, improves flexibility and relieves stress.  If you can breathe you can do yoga and you don’t have to be flexible to enjoy it!

I am really looking forward to being part of the Healthy Lifestyle Show and meeting new yogis.  My sessions will be suitable for all levels and beginners are especially welcome. I teach in an easy to understand, practical style and have been known to say something silly in the middle of class and get the giggles!

Christmas was a great refresher for me spending time with my family away from home with our children, their families and other relatives & having got my office reasonably tidy I had a good idea where everything was. One of my New Year resolutions  for this year is not to leave the transferring of my accounts from my files to a spread sheet until January for the Jan 31st tax self assessment deadline! My accountant please note.

Doing all my accounts in a block did have another useful outcome. Seeing everything that I did, where I went, where my income came from and what I invested in for my business has made me reassess my approach in 2018.

Giving my business an MOT has given me a lot of lightbulb moments. Have you had any of those about your business or your lifestyle in general in the last few months?

Most people start worrying about how healthy they are or not & about the lumps & bumps that seem to be more obvious than before. The gyms were heaving with eager get fit enthusiasts in January but as Easter approaches I suspect there will be plenty of room on the treadmills. I just started doing my daily exercises again & did my New Year C9 cleanse.

I lost 13 & a half inches from my body.  Yippee.

I am still doing the exercises before you ask. At home not the gym!

It is said that we are the sum of the 5 people we spend the most time with. Wonder why so many divorce proceedings & new jobs seem to start after Christmas .

I ‘ve just counted up how many decades I’ve had on this planet & how many more I might have. Scary! Better get on with my Lifestyle MOT too. If you want to do one too I would be happy to send you one.

Introducing Our Exhibitors, Liz Berwick – Weleda

Stay Natural

It’s not as straightforward as it should be –
but here’s why it’s worth the effort

Your skin absorbs about 60% of anything you put on it, and estimates
suggest that some of the chemicals found in everyday toiletries can reach
your organs in less than half a minute. When you consider the sheer
volume of stuff we use to get clean, smell nice and live in hope of
rediscovering at Youthful Glow, you won’t be surprised that studies have
found the average British woman absorbs
around 2kg of cosmetic ingredients every year.

What’s in beauty products?
Most moisturisers on the market – including those you’d think are
‘natural’ – contain by-products from the crude oil industry. Mineral oil
and petroleum – which also go by the names petrolatum, para n oil and
petroleum jelly – create a barrier because they can’t be absorbed by the
skin, but this also means your skin can’t breathe or heal.
And then there are nitrosamines. In 1998, the Department for Trade and
Industry said ‘it has been demonstrated that nitrosamines are
carcinogenic in more animal species than any other category of chemical carcinogen.’ Yet they are
commonly used in cosmetics – and not listed on product labels because they are classed as impurities.
However, DEA, TEA and MEA – the chemicals in which the impurities can occur – will appear on the
ingredients list.

Are ‘natural’ products different?
When you make a conscious decision to avoid these harmful ingredients by choosing a product clearly
labelled ‘natural’, you could still be exposed to them.
This is because there’s currently no harmonised standard for – or official regulatory definition of –
‘natural and organic cosmetic products’; while all cosmetics on the European market must comply
with the EU Cosmetic Regulation, ‘natural and organic’ remains an officially undefined sector of the
otherwise tightly regulated European industry. is means brands can use the terms ‘natural’ and
‘organic’ to cash in on growing consumer interest in the sector, without being held to account over
how the terms are used, and whether they accurately reflect the products beneath the label.

Choose CERTIFIED products like Weleda
In a bid to clean up ‘natural’ beauty’s dirty
secret, some pioneers have created their own
standard to help shoppers navigate the aisles.
Products carrying the NATRUE logo, for
example, have met the requirements of a
standard that sets three certification levels:
‘Natural Cosmetics’, ‘Natural Cosmetics with
Organic Components’ (at least 70% organic)
and ‘Organic Cosmetics’ (95% or more
organic). The certification process is carried
out by third party and independent
organisations that verify product compliance
to the standard.
You can rest assured, all Weleda products carry the NATRUE label.
